- I started running over 20 years ago to meet Air Force fitness requirements. I struggled with every mile until I shed my modern running shoes in 2010 and switched to sandals I made myself. Today I’m running further, faster and more often, while staying injury free. I want to help others discover the pleasures and benefits of a lifetime of running.
